Czech medical travel insurance rules
The Czech Republic is particularly strict about requiring foreign travelers to have health insurance.
While you can stay for up to 90 days within a 180-day period without a visa for purposes such as tourism, business, or short-term study, you are required to have health insurance and carry proof of it during your stay.
Additionally, please note that in the Czech Republic, fines can be issued not only for failing to present proof of health insurance but also for not carrying your passport.
If you cannot produce your passport upon request, an immediate on-the-spot fine may be levied.

If you are traveling to a country other than the above, in principle, overseas travel insurance is optional, but it is recommended that you take out insurance in case of emergency.
It’s okay because there is credit card insurance! If you think so, please check the insurance details of your credit card. Compensation for hospitalization and treatment costs is relatively low.
In particular, if you are an overseas nomad who is staying abroad for a long time, we recommend that you take out overseas travel insurance separately from the insurance attached to your credit card.
Or, even if you are only using a plane to cross countries, you can receive compensation for flight delays, cancellations, and lost baggage by taking out overseas travel insurance.
With Safety Wing, you can easily purchase insurance with the app, and the insurance period can be adjusted from 5 days. For example, if you intend to insure for 5 days only, the premium is $10.05 (excluding the US).
